A randomized, double-blind, active-controlled study to assess the effect of Entresto (sacubitril/valsartan) compared with enalapril to improve erectile function in patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) and erectile dysfunction (ED)
INCLUSION Criteria
- male outpatients ≥ 18 and ≤ 75 years
- mild to moderate erectile dysfunction
- eGFR> 30 mL/min/1.73m² at Screening
- NT-proBNP>300pg/mL
- NYHA class II EF < 40%
EXCLUSION Criteria
- symptomatic Hypotension, SBP ≤ 100mm Hg
- history of severe pulmonary disease
- PSA level higher > 4ng/ml or known prostate cancer
