13th Neuroendoscopy Week 2024 / September 08-14
Dear colleagues,
it is my pleasure to announce the 13th Homburger Neuroendoscopy Week at the Department of Neurosurgery Saarland University, Homburg-Saar / Germany, Due to the success of the last years, we offer 3 Modules in 2024 again.
Module 1 is focused on the interdisciplinary approach to the skullbase in cooperation with our ENT-Department of Professor Schick. The new developments in endoscopic skullbase surgery are presented to you by an international faculty. Additional hands-on courses will provide demonstrations of endoscopic techniques as well as time to enhance your own surgical skills on human cadavers. Interdisciplinary live surgeries will be presented to you in HD-technology and in an interactive setting.
Module 2 will focus on intraventricular endoscopy and pediatric neurosurgery. Human cadavers and animal models are also included.
Module 3 is focused of the currently most important available techniques in minimally invasive spine surgery. This module also contains a Human cadaver workshop lasting several hours.
As before a selected variety of innovate neurosurgical products will be presented in the accompanying Industrial Exhibition.

Skills Lab
In our cadaver Lab we will train different surgical techniques with hands-on cadaver practice.
There are eight stations equipped for each module with endoscopic tower, endoscopic sets, drills and surgical instruments.
The following surgical skills will train:
