Health Insurance for Students
A Health Insurance is obligatory needed to immatriculate at our university. The students should rapidly contact the responsible german health insurance after arrival in Homburg to get released from insurance obligation (EU-citizen) or to close a german health insurance (Non-EU-citizen). The European Health Insurance Card must be presented to the agency mentioned below:

In case of illness
EU students should present their European Health Insurance Card to the doctor or dentist who treats them. Doctor?s and hospital fees are then reclaimed by AOK from your health insurance at home.
The ECTS Departmental Coordinators are ? according to the illness in question ? able to help in finding a doctor or specialist and can, in some cases, give advice themselves.
