By car:

From Mannheim or from Saarbrücken:
Leave the A6 motorway at the Homburg/Saar exit and drive towards Homburg, following signs to the university hospital (Kliniken / Universitätskliniken).

From the Rhine-Main region (Frankfurt Airport):

Motorway A63 from Mainz-Süd until Autobahndreieck Kaiserslautern, where you join the motorway A6 towards  Saarbrücken until you reach the exit Homburg/Saar, then as above.

From Trier or Koblenz:
Take the A8 motorway as far as the Neunkirchen/Saar intersection (Autobahnkreuz Neunkirchen/Saar), where you join the A6 and drive towards Mannheim leaving at the Homburg/Saar exit. Further directions as above.

From Karlsruhe/Pirmasens:
Take the B10 and join the A8 motorway shortly after Pirmasens and drive towards Zweibrücken. After passing Zweibrücken, leave the A8 at the Einöd exit and continue on the B423 towards Homburg, following signs to the university hospital (Kliniken / Universitätskliniken).

Free parking is available in the car park at the main entrance to the university hospital campus. A free bus service operating within the hospital campus from 7 am until 5 pm (Fridays until 4 pm) departs every fifteen minutes.
For inpatients being brought to or picked up from the hospital, short-stay metered parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity of a number of hospital departments. Each of the following departments has a parking area: Internal Medicine II, Eye Clinic, Gynaecology, Paediatric Medicine, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Nuclear Medicine, and Forensic Medicine. Cars may be parked for a maximum of one hour for a charge of one euro.
