Research Aims:

Neurodegeneration is an important component during the progression of multiple sclerosis (MS), and may be the underlying cause for long-term disability in MS patients. The goal of our lab is to investigate the mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), an animal model of MS, with the purpose of developing novel neuroprotective strategies.
