CON­TRACT’S elec­tro­nic sur­vey

In the frame of the Eu­ro­pean Pro­ject ‘Con­tract’, which aims at ana­ly­sing, im­pro­ving and har­mo­ni­sing ‘in­for­med consent’ across Eu­ro­pe a ques­ti­onn­ai­re has be­en set up which will ana­ly­se the cur­rent si­tua­ti­on con­cerning the le­gal, ethi­cal, tech­ni­cal and cli­ni­cal hand­ling of consent, main­ly in Eu­ro­pean pro­jects dea­ling with vul­ne­ra­ble pa­ti­ent groups. The pur­po­se is to iden­ti­fy exis­ting prac­tices and pro­blems en­coun­tered in trans­la­tio­nal re­se­arch th­roug­hout Eu­ro­pe.
By par­ti­ci­pa­ting in this sur­vey you will help us to ad­vi­se trans­la­tio­nal re­se­arch pro­jects in all is­su­es of in­for­med consent and to de­li­ver con­cre­te­po­li­cy re­com­men­da­ti­ons as to how the Eu­ro­pean Uni­on could jointly pro­tect pa­ti­ent’s rights and sup­port trans­la­tio­nal re­se­arch by a bet­ter struc­tu­red ap­proach towards consent is­su­es.

The sur­vey is ad­dres­sed to:

* Cli­ni­ci­ans / Ca­re pro­vi­ders,
* Chair­per­sons of re­se­arch pro­jects / tri­als,
* Re­se­ar­chers / Mo­le­cu­lar bio­lo­gists,
* Com­pu­ter Sci­en­tists,
* Le­gal Ex­perts / Ethi­cists,
* Da­ta Ma­na­ger / Sta­tisti­ci­ans and
* Eu­ro­pean Po­li­cy­ma­kers.

It will not ta­ke mo­re than 30 mi­nu­tes to fill out the sur­vey.
